Our Process

From Livestock Procurement to Meat Export

Quality Meat Exports manages the complete supply chain, from livestock procurement and feedlot management to slaughtering, processing, packaging, transportation, and export.

Every stage is supervised by experienced veterinary and food technology professionals to maintain animal health, meat quality, hygiene, traceability, and compliance with Halal requirements. Our integrated process enables us to provide consistent quality, reliable supply, and efficient delivery to domestic and international customers.

Feedlot Process Flow

Our cattle are raised in natural environments and are fed a carefully managed mix of green fodder and grain to support their health, growth, and meat quality. This balanced feeding programme produces nutritious meat with a rich and distinctive flavour influenced by the local environment and farming conditions. Responsible Livestock Sourcing

We procure healthy and carefully selected livestock from trusted farms and suppliers across Punjab and interior Sindh.

Animals are selected according to their weight, breed, age, health condition, physical structure, and the requirements of the destination market.

Our procurement process includes:

• Pre-purchase livestock surveys
• Animal selection based on weight, breed, and health
• Animal tagging and identification
• Safe transportation
• Maintenance of buffer stock

Maintaining buffer stock helps ensure stable supply, consistent quality, and better management of seasonal shortages and market price changes.

Quarantine& Health Management

All newly procured animals undergo a controlled quarantine period before entering the main feedlot.

During this period, our veterinary team monitors the animals and provides the required preventive and supportive care. This may include vaccination, deworming, parasite control, nutritional support, stress management, and other treatments recommended by qualified veterinarians.

After quarantine, animals are sorted according to:

• Weight
• Breed
• Physical condition
• Body structure
• Export market requirements

This process ensures that only healthy and suitable animals move forward in the production cycle.

Feedlot Rearing and Nutrition

Animals are managed under carefully planned feeding and rearing programmes based on their age, health, life stage, and the requirements of the export market.

Our feeding and rearing practices include:

• Halal feed ingredients
• No animal-based protein sources
• A high proportion of green fodder
• Clean drinking water
• Balanced nutrition
• Proper housing and animal care
• Regular veterinary supervision

These practices support healthy growth, animal welfare, meat quality, and an improved dressing ratio.

Pre-Slaughter Management

Before slaughtering, animals are handled carefully to minimise stress and maintain their health and condition.

Our pre-slaughter procedures include:

• Veterinary health checks
• Safe and comfortable transportation
• Soft bedding where required
• Resting at the abattoir
• Appropriate hydration
• Observation before slaughter

Animals are kept at the abattoir for the required resting and inspection period before slaughtering.

Halal Slaughtering

All animals are slaughtered strictly in accordance with Islamic principles and applicable food safety requirements.

We use approved Halal slaughterhouses equipped with modern slaughtering and handling facilities. Humane animal-handling practices are followed throughout the process.

After slaughtering, each carcass undergoes veterinary inspection and post-mortem examination to confirm its quality, safety, and suitability for processing.

Meat Processing and Packaging

Following slaughter, the meat is processed under controlled and hygienic conditions according to customer and market requirements.

Our processing services include:

• Carcass preparation
• Professional meat cutting
• Chilling or freezing
• Vacuum packing where required
• Hygienic protective packaging
• Product identification and labelling
• Quality inspection before dispatch

Meat can be supplied as whole carcasses, bone-in cuts, boneless cuts, chilled products, frozen products, or vacuum-packed products.

Cold Chain and Transportation

Temperature control is maintained throughout processing, storage, transportation, and delivery.

Our cold-chain process includes:

• Temperature-controlled chilling and freezing
• Refrigerated storage
• Temperature-controlled vehicles
• Insulated or refrigerated containers
• Careful airport handling
• Direct flights where available

This controlled process helps maintain the freshness, quality, hygiene, and safety of the meat until it reaches its destination.
